Runescape Goldfarming

Obviously gold farming is a major play in rs but I've never understood how it works. I'm skeptic by how people earn 1000s just by leaving their computer on. I guess before it was worth it but would fold farming be any value now since there's a HIGH ban rate.

I'm also wondering how people earn profits as membership account costs 4-6£ per month and around 10+ accounts needed (i actually dont Know how much you need). If an account gets banned within a day, was there any points of making the account membership.

I'm only asking cos this guy in my uni made around $100,000!!! He already payed off hiss tuition fee's and he said he stopped goldfarming cos ban rates are very high now.

Please briefly tell me the basis of goldfarming and if it is worth anything now. Thank you!!!!

 

You need a lot of money and a lot of time to goldfarm.
Not worth it right now.

Ask your rich friend, sounds like he knows what to do.

 

10 Memberships: ~$70.00

Income of 150k/hr each: 36m/day
36m @ $2.50/mil = $90.00

In previous experience, goldfarming accounts usually last about 3-5 days. I haven't played rs in awhile, so it may have changed, though.

$90.00 x 3 days: $270.00

 

His not a friend lol just some kid in uni but I'll ask him altho i think I'll never see him again ;(

Those who have 100's of accounts have special methods. If it was that easy, the market would be far too saturated and thus pushing down gold prices. The bans are nice because they keep the price of gold stable and offer a little challenge.

It's not worth it right now, unless you have about 400$ to invest up-front.

Be prepared to take hits, as well.

small scale goldfarming makes profit too..

better than anyting.. 100k p/h on each account with yews is 1m p/h.. pretty decent for doing nothing if you ask me..

 

agree. I bot in just one account, can make some money to myself and to pay the membership with bonds. no money used
