RuneScape = DEAD??

its not really dead...the people you used to see where botters...

 

It's shit and will keep getting worse because most of the players liked to bot or liked the bots keeping shit cheap

 

It's not really dead, it's just a different game now. It's more appealing for new people who are starting to play, not so much for old school players.

 

Yeah there's much less people on nowadays. Only a few of my old friends even log on from time to time, much less actually play the game :/
The game just seems to be losing its appeal. Especially with the lame/unnecessary updates jagex is transforming it into a totally different game.
I'm considering finally throwing in the towel and selling my account before its too late.

 

There are a lot fewer active people on runescape than on other games like LoL (play it) and I guess SWTOR

 

Since bot nuke day runscape has lagged hard !

I just noob around and stuff. No reason to really be rich.

 

If you want to see more players around you just choose a world that is more active

 

I find the game a lot more enjoyable than it was with bots. You can actually meet legitimate people again, and Jagex has some good graphical updates planned in the upcoming months. It would certainly help if I could sell my skiller (in my sig), so I could buy more GP, but it's still worth playing nonetheless.

 

RuneScape defo loses players daily duo those messed up updates. just yesterday and today i found about 5 bugs i managed to abuse. Some of them gives biiig advantage ingame. reported to jmod as i usually do, and it ended up with another 2 hour convo with jmod in pm... Ofc. he gave up trying and took off like nothing happened. Well... i guess thats an perission to abuse my newly found bug.

 

pking used to be a lot more fun but since good item prices have gone down and stupid stuff (rock climbing boots) gone up its boring

 

it must back to life with more adventure

 

Jagex is ruining the game, botters arent. If jagex keeps making rs lagger and more buggy then gf rs.

 

Your idea is completely flawed there is no way 50% of the rs population at any given time is just logging in to see if their account works or w\e the reason might be lol. I would say this is more around 20% at most. you guys only think it's bare because literally 50-70% of the game was botters and now that most of them are gone the game is actually back to where it was.

 

at least finding a bot in runescape isn't like finding a needle in a needle stack anymore

I'm pretty sure it wont die anytime soon but the number of members is decreasing.

 

What could've been worse than removing the wilderness? Nothing.

And yet, RS didn't die. RS isn't close to dead.

 

I think a more suitable name for the game now would be ChildScape
