Runescape.com finds :)

Well, I've been looking over to runescape history and stuff, and stuff...

Most of you might know what Internet archive is.

http://web.archive.org - It shows the history of any websites, ofcourse if they are not blocked.

Since Runescape.com is blocked, I tried to enter something else..

The magic word is....... !!! http://1.runescape.com !!!

It's not really that awsome, you can't see pictures just dead links and so..

On the last page I saw something nice, sadly it didn't work lol

When you go to www.runescape.com , right click and then view page info.
That's on Mozilla firefox btw.., go view certificates, then details and blah blah blah... Hard to explain where I was surfing lol

It says that next update is at 14/07/2008

Does this mean when next Runescape.com update will be?
Or it's just some other update, I'd really like to know

P.S.#1 I don't know how I found it lol Just discovered that internet archive and since runescape.com is blocked, typed 1.runescape.com in and it worked lmao..

The funny thing about this thread is that I remember when all of those things you 'found' actually existed in the website. I would be curious to find if there were an update on the 17th, though. That would mean that it is already done, but will auto-execute itself then...

 

Yes, they existed, but as it says it's at around 2001-2002-2003 so all the stuff is quite old There is no way other way to get to all that stuff except for doing what I did

And yes the updates might already be created and are set to execute automatically at the certain date.. If it's true then they are doing future updates at the moment... And all those from 'Behind the scenes of July' are already done, waiting for their automatic execution.. But who knows?! Only Jagex ltd. does

 

That is really neat man! Great find. Chances are that's probably a good bet on the whole update thing. I could totally see them updating it then since they didn't update anything this past week again, I thought even though they posted the July behind the scenes usually don't they still have a small update with it? Anyways the only thing is the 17th is a Thursday? That doesn't really sound like an update day but everythings been messed up lately since the big update so it wouldn't surprise me lol!

I'm pretty sure the update thing is a signature/certificate update for the website, not a game update.
