Runescape bandwidth!

    Just a quick question, I'm wondering how much bandwidth RuneScape uses?
    I have 1.5gb internet usage allowance on my phone and I'm in hospital right now so I'm using my phone for Internet access. Is 1.5gb enough for a month of RS - 5 hours a day?

    Doubt it but I could be wrong.

    Have you tried even running RS on your phone? Every phone i've ever tried on hasn't ran it.

    I'm sure he will be tethering it, I don't think 1.5 gb would cover a whole month playing 5 hours a day. The hospital doesn't have wifi or anything?

    Plenty, assuming that you have loaded runescape before. My 9 runescape clients use about 10kB's a second.
    So your looking at approximately 1kB usage per second.

    3g connection is going to hurt you in terms of ping.

    To be 100% honest, I think you will be cutting it close to the limit, and the speed will most likely be atrocious.

    It doesn't use tons, but the gameplay is going to drive you up the wall if you try to play on your phone, the ping is terrible.
