Runescape Bandwidth Usage

How much Bandwidth per hour Does Runescape use on max settings? (full Hd full screen everything set on high)

Around 15KB/S Downwidth, and 5KB/S upwidth. So if you play a hour it's 54MB Downwidth, and 18Mb Upwidth.

 

and thats at highest settings? So what about lowest (standard detail)? Thanks for your help.

 

That really isn't that high especially with the game running at its highest graphical settings. I'm suprised.

 

Its not a lot because very little data is transmitted to and from the server. (Mouse clicks, etc) the rest is stored on your computer. Wow is the same way it uses very little bandwidth

 

Anyone got any idea of the usage at standard detail but with all settings high?

 

Apparently wow uses 36mb an hour while raiding... I think runescape on hd would use less than that. Anyone that can perform some tests of settings for runescape and hourly usage I will reward with a decent rs account.

 

It's the same with SD. There's not difference. Samethings are being sent and downloaded.

 

Jagex have done a test Look on the Official Runescape forums.
It uses 25MB / HR btw.

I think it's much less than 25mb an hour. I only have 20gb of data a month and I usually end up using about 18gb of that. I play about 8 hours a day, constantly have 3 or more computers connected to the internet, with an xbox that runs constanly playing mw2.

 

It would really depend on what you are doing in game I think.

 

I'm planning on buying prepaid wireless boadband for my laptop I play 4-5 hours a day so I'd only need 3-4gb of data correct?
