Runecrafting - Abyss - Setup?

Just got 40 def, and I have 67 ranged.

Whats an ideal setup to rc using the abyss? should i get 70 ranged for black d hide? or should I wear addy?

 

personally I wear nothing but a spottier cape + boots of lightless

If someone wants to try and pk me for my glory they can.

To me it's not worth wearing armor because your run recharges wicked slow and you make less nats/hr.

but that's just me.

If you're 40 def you may as well get black d'hide if you're worried about getting killed.

note : Every trip back to the bank due to the creatures in the abyss I usually need to eat 1 lobster but I also can almost always use run

 

I've always wore black d'hide because it's just a bit better protection, even though I probably didn't need it. I suppose that it always helps having that bit of extra protection, especially when your prayer has been drained.

 

sweet..any1 else that uses the abyss? what do you guys use/wear?

 

Also, what woodcutting level would you recommend getting to cut tendrils in the abyss?

 

Nothing, boots of lightness + spottier cape. Like above, worth the extra lobster for the extra nats p/h. And I also recommend using mining for abyss, about level 50 should do.
