Ruby on Rails

Anyone know this language? How long did it take you to get the hang of it etc.?

And do you prefer it to say.. PHP?

 

It's a lot cleaner than PHP and easier to develop modular applications... Not sure which one has a higher learning curve though they both aren't too bad.

This is supposed to be a good resources for beginning ROR. I think only the first course is free though.

I prefer using php, over ROR, but ROR is a little more advanced, but if you have a solid foundation in php, ROR wont but much harder to learn..


as to how fast, well idk if your an idiot, or a genius, but the avg person can probably do it in a month
