RSPS staff threads

i dont think there should be rsps staff hiring threads unless a mod can verify the link is safe and that it have a working web client because i know we're all wary of keyloggers and other viruses. and if this doesn't go through can we to a list of approved safe rsps's

No way to keep up to date with the amount of new RSPS's created each day. No support. Just be smart.

 

If need be I could verify all links etc.. and post picture of a scan if that would be somewhat helpful?

 

I actually support this. One of the biggest concerns here on sythe is it's users' getting hacked / key-logged. I think this is a prevention (although small), and it should be put into place. The only negative impact I see about this is the extra moderator time that it would take.

 

Yeah i do agree with you, however there is alot of servers being created daily. But yeah support. Good idea, its good to keep sythe users safe

 

i mean we can have a verified section and unverified section and we can have mods or somone verify a few an move them to the right thread page.

If they link to the same phishing/java drive-by site, we normally add the link to the censor list.

 

I think every thread should be moderated before it's posted.

There are maybe 3-4 threads a day? Before you accuse anyone of being "stupid," you need to get your facts straight.

 

I think EVERY thread should be moderated before it's posted. My god some people can't even read what they wrote. How are mods suppose to approve like 150+ threads a day? They already have too much stuff to do like spam reports/scam reports. Even approving threads in the dispute forums take like 10+ hrs before it's even approved. Just think if it's in the RS section with 10 times the amount of threads.

excatly, ill be willing to check them if its needed i just feel all these low life scammers need to be stoped...or at least minimized at their attempts

 

If no mods are online at the time and someone in the RS section needs a quick answer, wouldn't that be very aanoying and they'd move onto a different forum such as rsc/tip.it? We'd start losing members/posts in that section of the forum.

 

he means in the Runescape server development section, where you advertise servers.

 

i mean you post in an unverified section so users know they have a chance of being hacked and if the server is clean we move it to the verified section
