RSbuddy uses Reflection?

When I load the client, it says Loading Reflection...
I thought RSbuddy used BCL. Does it really use reflection?

I was just about to look into switching from nexus to rsbuddy primarily and this kinda confused me.

 

I've been trying out neXus scripts lately and they kinda suck, I think RSBuddy is half reflection half BCEL because it still reads from the client but it might be seeing colors to, who knows
got this answer from RSBuddy: Both reflection and ASM Library Injection.

 

Nexus is all reflection. The only bots I use in Rsbuddy is the paid runecrafter and idungeon. All my other bots are from the Nexus client and by far I would say Nexus > Rsbuddy. With the exception of idungeon

 

You'd be surprised how well put together some RsBuddy scripts are, I'm using ArteSummoning right now, and it's working great.

 

That's because BCEL is faster and overall better than reflection, all the reflection bots try to put out this propaganda that it gets you banned and people believe it

 

Is there any proof either way?

 

Well what do you think is faster? Your screen updating or the game variables updating?

 

key word some, there are only a couple scripts on rsbuddies that are worth a damn where as nexus has nearly all great scripts.

It is faster but it also does give more of a chance to get banned reflection is far safer which is why every bot maker etc. is switching over to reflection.

 

that's a common misconception, neither has a higher or lower ban rate, they just use reflection because people think it has less of a ban rate and your average scripter can't use it so people like rsbotting.com can charge more, but I agree the NeXus scripts are very advanced but I think they could be improved if ran with BCEL

Reflection can be safer. What if RS makes an update with a check that your modified client fails to respond to? But yes it does not mean we can say that reflection IS safer. The best is a mixture of both, BCEL for functionality that will not generate a check and reflection for functionality that is highly likely to get such checks.

from what I understand The BCEL client is made to send back unmodified info back to the servers, so Jagex can't tell what is edited

 

I'm pretty sure it means that it's loading a reflection of the runescape login page.

 

I own 7 nexus scripts, I very rarely use the since rsbuddy was released.
OT: Don't really see the point in using half reflection half bcel, half of the advantages all of the disadvantages.

 

I actually do not know lol until not too long ago [ a year or 2 give or take] I had quit rs and had not autoed since I was coding on reinet which was ages ago.

 

People who say free bots are better obviously can't afford the premium bots. :nuts:
