RS won't load?

Every time I tried to load up RS I get nothing but a black page. Nothing loads, and it simply stays like this. Any idea why?

 

Java fucked up? Try restarting your PC or something.

 

Already restarted it several times. Same thing happens when I run bots (Rsbots, RSBuddy, Powerbot).

 

un install java and reinstall it. post here and tell us if that works 4 you.

 

Have you tried loading RS in different browsers, such as Google Chrome and FireFox?

If you still have issues, try downloading an update for Java. See if the problem persists after that.

Java usually doesn't do this, maybe terminate the application in your Task manager then start it up again.

 

Can I just re-install it or do I HAVE to delete it first?

Started 2 days ago, but I've been working a ton so I haven't bothered looking into it until now.

 

Uninstall current Java and reinstall it.
Or if that doesn't work, in start menu type in "services" and click on the link associated. Scroll down til you find "WindowsSearch", right click and choose "Stop." Sometimes it can be a CPU issue. Restart your browser, and try loading Runescape again.

 

You should be able to just run an update from off of the website, although uninstalling it altogether is really simple (Just go to Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel)

 

When I look at my task manager should I see java running?

 

Yea you should. Also I think this may have something to do with the private server. Someone when you load runescape from an older client of Runescape it will mess up the graphics. When I first started using a 614 server on local I would have weird graphical problems like this happen to me. I fixed it by switching back to default graphics on private server client.

It may be something different in your case though.

Was trying to find a lazy way out before I do anything so drastic.

 

Hold down the "s" button while its all loading, it should make the client load automatically in safe mode, this was a reoccurring problem on my old laptop and i never found a fix except for that. Hope it works out for you.

I've had this problem before, but that was usually when the screen's flashing black/normal. It wouldn't even get to that point this time, but thankfully it's fixed now.

I would suggest to restart your computer.

 

this happened to me once. and what seemed to cause it was like my desktop freezing... clear all of your cookies, clear all internet services. Then go to task manager and delete the internet explorer that is running the more raam. End it. and see if that works.

 

Chache? Delete it and let it re download upon loading scape.
