Rock. To say rap would imply that such awesomeness as Aerosmith, AC/DC, etc. could be beaten by some guy spitting into a microphone. That would be folly.

 

Rap. Who cares though, it's all about personal choice. People get so hyped up over this stuff >.<

You dont give much option or show much appeal when you talk about either of the genres. rock itself is hard to explain, because almost any genre that involves a guitar, bass and drums falls under "rock". It is more of a category than anything, and korn? puddle of mudd? are you kidding me? does anyone have a unique taste in music here or do you all listen to the same shit.

Also, i dont know what you consider rap, but i do enjoy some hip hop, nujabes, pase rock, lupe fiasco, wu-tang clan, good stuff like that.

 

It is also hard to explain why I pick rock.
Anyways, My favortie is Green Day.

I picked Rock. I like Rock and Metal. I used to like rap about 3 years ago and I heard some Metal and Rap just slowly went away.

 

I'm more into Rock than Rap. Rap they cuss like every two work. lmao

I chose rap lol.... lyrically it makes more sense to me, just never really paid attention to rock..... anyways im not talking about that really black black music.... i just like dancing music like hip hop with some rap/reggaeton/salsa. Actually i like all music genres lol, as long as it has a good rhythm/beat and a good singer I'd like it.

 

Rap, but I listen to a lot of rock. Not just any old rap. Grime, Niche, Grime/Hip-Hop, Hip-Hop. That sorta thing.
Drum and Bass is best, hence my love for any song with a fast, hard-hitting beat.

I would choose ska over both of them, but I hate rap. So I'm going to choose Rock, which is probably my 2nd fave. genre behind Ska. But since Rock is such a huge group of music, I'll put in softer rock, not metal. I don't like metal or anything. The most hardcore or metally anything that I'll go is probably System of A Down, but I prefer softer rock.

 

Punk Rock > Rap. But some rap lyrics are ok.

 

Sometimes im in the mood for rap but overall i enjoy rock more consistently.

Since I don't hate any of them. I love rock and rap both..mainly Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin. For rap I love Three Six Mafia and Lil Boosie
