Right some clarification needed.

I have a main now with 130m. When the free trade comes i am going to be wanting to give my pure the 130m because im going to be staking.

Will i be banned or can jagex see its me???

Yeah, you can be subject to banning if they catch you for transferring between accounts. I doubt you'll get caught though.

 

So then what's with all of the posts talking about how it will be fine, how it's frowned upon but not bannable?

 

Then they are clearly all misinformed and should take a brief moment to read through the rules of RuneScape. Interactions between your own accounts are strictly prohibited.

 

I've read that, but there have been accounts of Mods being lenient in that area, and I was wondering if it will be the same in the future as their past experiences suggest. I guess we will have to wait and see; will the RWT ban threads start rolling in?

 

Soo, then maybe a way to get around that, for safety, is to trade the mills to a friend, then back to your account you wanted it on? Just thought of that on the spot reading your post.

Also, theres going to be SOME tweak to the free trade.. We all know Jagex and how they always find a way to attempt to stop us but just make another barrier we eventually overcome anyway. I'm not thinking to hard on the subject simply because when its out, we'll know what it is, then we can start pondering ideas how to overcome whatever they come out with.

 

They wouldn't put it on a list of rules if they didn't care about it. I'm not saying that it is enforced particularly well, but it is there nonetheless. I doubt they'll revoke it, Jagex seems to be pretty righteous about this whole fairness thing.

I'll still interact between my accounts. The rule never stopped me before and I've never been reprimanded for doing so. I'm not discouraging anybody from doing it, I'm merely stating that it is in fact against their rules.

yeah thats the least of most peoples worries. it is bannable if u get caught transforing money from the same i.p. the natural thing to do is ask a friend? but then u take a chance of being burnt. or have a friend irl log in from his house and then make the transfer. so if he screws u over atleast u kno were he sleeps =)

 

Keep in mind this may not even be a permanent ban if caught.

 

I believe it would fall under Real World Trade if you did get caught.
If you did it often (trading between accounts) then you will have a higher chance of getting caught and it being a permanent ban.

But if you do it sneakily, such as Duel Arena staking... or a friend trading it for you, then you most likely will not get caught.

 

as long as u dont log in from the same i.p. with 2 diff accounts u should be good. other then that ud have to be reported by a mod i believe... which should be easy to get by with. u also have to think about the mass amount of trillions of gp thats gonna be moved when update arrives.130mil gonna be lil fish to them. theyl be looking for 500milz+ most likely and how long the account has been created...

 

In My Opinion to not get caught do fake stake , That would be the best .

small chance to get caught. I've been multi logging in the same world for years, never got caught. not even when i was luring, rwting or anything.
