Right or Wrong

Hey all, looking for a little advice.

I spoke to a guy earlier who was selling RS M's. He said 290m was $304.50.

I asked him to confirm the RSGP ingame, which he did so I sent paypal payment as gift with the gift-note he asked for 'gift for you' and he starts acting weird saying,

'it's not gift blah blah'

I said 'yeah it is' etc. Anyway he was stalling so I asked him to refund and he said 'I already withdrew it to my bank'.

So i'm like well ok, give me the gold then. He said, 'I will in 3 days when the moneys in my bank, ive been scammed before blah blah'

I have records to prove my payment etc. So I filed a dispute and his account is in minus, he's asking me to cancel my dispute but then I have no security.

What should I do?

P.S. when i was making this thread, he said he changed his mind, then changed it again.



I'm still $304.50 down with no gold.

What a fuckin noob, how do I report a scammer?

 

moment, ill upload all prove pictures that dude is a scammer ( josh ). btw even his photo is not 100% real.

I would not suggest cancelling the dispute, as if he does scam you, it makes it a lot harder to recover. If he already received the payment he has to give you the item agreed upon. On a side note, you can buy gold for a much better price, and from seller who are highly trusted.

 

josh is not a scammer i can vouch for that. he bought 60$ worth of gold from me. and the guy josh traded with sounds more like a scammer by not forking over the gold josh paid for.

 

Don't cancel nothing until you have the gold.

 

If you received the money, send the goods, no 2 ways about that. You do not wait 3 days for it to transfer to your bank.
