Rift - OMG

Just started on a random impulse tonight. Literally, out of nowhere, I remembered hearing about this game at launch, when I was a thorough RuneScape addict and disregarded it. Tonight after qutting, very bored, I remembered it and decided to give it a go.

As soon as I started, I could not get off. I played for 7 straight hours, with one bathroom break. I absolutely love this game so far. It is like all the good things in WoW, without any of the bad things. The community isn't very large, but I never really needed a huge fanbase anyway. If anyone else has yet to try it, I really hope you do. I have a couple of friends whom I have convinced to start playing with me already. If you do decide to play, (ITS FREE TILL LEVEL 20!), I have a ventrilo you can join me and my friends in, and we will do our very best to ensure you start off with alot of help!

I actually really enjoyed Rift too. I pre-ordered the collectors edition during Beta and compared to now, it was virtually unplayable back then. Regardless, I still enjoyed it. Trion gave me a few days free so I played for a little while, got to level 30ish and gave up. The dungeons in the game are immersive and interesting compared to other games (*cough* WoW)

Overall, impressive game with stunning visuals, nice gameplay, a huge variation on the paths you can choose.
