I contacted this person through Discord because I saw that they accept ideal — a Dutch online bank transfer method, which is the most convenient option for me. I asked for their price for 600M OSRS GP, and they quoted $0.18 USD per million. After confirming that they accept ideal, they told me the total would be €101.50 for 600M.

However, according to currency conversion rates at that time, 600M × $0.18 = $108 USD, which equals €92.24 — meaning their quoted price was €9.26 higher. I found this unusual and asked why the total was significantly higher.

Before I mentioned the currency difference, he had already sent me their bank details, so that I could go ahead and pay. Once I pointed out the price discrepancy, they replied that there was a 10% fee. This was never mentioned beforehand, nor is it stated anywhere in he's gold-selling thread: ⭐[$1000 Donor]⭐Selling OSRS GP ✅ Crypto / S€PA / Interac / Bank xfer / Wise and more!

He also asked if I was Dutch (which I am), but then claimed I wasn’t and that my messages were “translated,” which was irrelevant and unprofessional.

I’m requesting a TWC (Trade With Caution) because:
The seller failed to disclose the 10% fee before providing payment details.
The fee is not mentioned anywhere in their thread or pricing.
The claimed “processing fee” is suspicious, especially since they claim to be Dutch — iDEAL transfers between Dutch accounts do not carry such fees.

I kindly ask that a Sythe moderator review this case and require the seller to prove the existence of this so-called 10% processing fee, which I highly doubt is legitimate. I have been a Sythe member since 2018, and I can recognize suspicious behavior when I see it. This situation raises several red flags and, in my opinion, warrants a TWC.

I'm sorry for the mods who will have to deal with this report.

iDeal is a dutch payment method for bank transfer. I simply declined selling him GP due to the fact his dutch was high likely translated and I didn't want my payment processor to fall victim for a chargeback / worst case, his bank account being closed as a cause of an ABC scam.

@Reapy x his story didn't match up so I refused to do business as I have the good right to do so. He got upset and said at his best translator dutch that he's going to take this to Sythe.
