[Resolved]

I am reporting their accounts and site.
Their site has been down for over 10 days and their discord has now been deleted.

I had 120M as a balance on the site and they seemingly have shut it down.

@Hugepanic Can you provide some kind of proof that you still had 120m in their balance?

 

I actually did screenshot a deposit a few hours before the site had gone down.
I beleive I had lost 20m, gone to work, and when I came back and checked the discord, I saw that the site was down via their discord.

 

@Sneaky Fish5 @c0ngs Can you help out since you seem to be working for MadDev as well?
I've placed a DNT on MadDev until this has been resolved.

 

@Chloe as far as im aware the site is currently down for maintenace since there were a few bugs/exploits that people could abuse.
A 2nd dev is double checking the code and fixing it up. Keep in mind that I'm just a chat moderator and have no affiliation to www.rsruby.com

Additionally as far as im aware the site should come back up in a few weeks/(days?)
Im also pretty sure that @Willie is on vacation till the 7th of june, (left yesterday)

I was told from another staff member that @MadDev said they are the only ones able to see the balance logs.
Are you able to pay people who don't want to be part of the site anymore? I can understand people wanting to cash-out when the site is down for so long.

 

All I know for sure is 2 things

1. MadDev said he is innocent since he's only the dev and he wasn't aware of what was happening
2. RsRuby said in the discord that the site would be up in 5-10, but he said that a few weeks ago

At this point it's safe to say they scammed or don't plan on coming back anytime soon. They were down $20k, we've heard no word from them, and even the dev doesn't know what's happened.

 

I'm just not sure what would happen to other members involved due to:

Businesses/Partnerships: Anyone running a business or partnered service implicitly agrees to share responsibility for the actions of their co-owners, as well as any workers they employ. Thus, if a partner or worker scams, all owners of the business will be banned until the debt is repaid. Workers, however, are not liable for anyone's actions but their own (although it is up to the staff to determine who falls into that category)

@video @Tmoe @Shin might know what to do in this situation.

 

I have faith in @Willie to resolve this when he returns so I don't believe we will need to cross into any of that territory yet. I will keep this open until he returns on the 7th or if I hear from him sooner, which I believe I will

 

I have just heard from one of the mods that Willie has deleted their RSRUBY discord.
There had been no word for weeks regarding the site status and its been 11 days since that message was posted in the discord.
I am assuming I and many others were scammed of their balances.

Willie has also been reading this thread for over an hour without a response.

 

@Willie messaged me today and said he will resolve this when he returns. Until then, please refrain from posting unless you have something relevant and factual to add

 

Not really sure the above is fair to me and everyone that had balances on the site.
Willie has read the thread, but has CHOSEN not to respond. He also has deleted the discord, I dont accept waiting an additional week and a half as a solution.

 

There's nothing that can be done about it, he has a DNT and so does MadDev.
We can't force him to pay you back right now.

This is what Elite said to me:

So Willie is trying to resolve things, but the fact that his Devs up and left him isn't his fault.
So please be patient.

It's my understanding that you broke contract, which made Willie unable to pay people out.

Gave them fair warning of the site hosting running out and the site shutting down, I messaged Willie about 10 times about, nothing was done.




There was not reply to these statements, no attempt to let anyone know, nothing done.

I can't even believe I'm dealing with this lol, remove my DNT, I have nothing to do with this.

I think we can all agree here that I did not leave Willie stranded.
