Just wondering...

At what point does it become okay to fart in front of a significant other? I don't want an answer from people with no sense of decency and do it all the time -.-

Do you fart in front of your significant other? why or why not? do you think it's the same as farting in front of a family member? I want to know everything about what people think about this.

Depends what both of your personalitys are i suppose. If she is uptight trying to be perfect and doesn't like making mistakes then she may not like it.. if shes more out going and you can tell she doesn't care about what she does in front of you..vice verca... Also if you've had sex you should be able to do anything with eachother

I dated a girl for over a year, and we did everything imaginable together, but I was still uncomfortable to fart around her, and I never did. I guess it's personal preference.

I don't get why you'd need to anyway. If you're feeling gassy, you could always go into the bathroom and let out a quiet burp. Less noise, less smell.

It depends what type of person you are, i'm just a dick so it works.

 

I will fart in front of my closer guy friends, but I would never do it when on a date/with my girlfriend. I know it's natural, but it just seems vulgar when you do it on public or on a date. I guess it really depends on how the people around you feel about it, but I would just leave it for the bathroom.

 

I wouldn't want to give her the impression that it's ok for HER to start farting too.. so I wouldn't fart in front of her.

 

tbh, it would only be acceptable before a relationship as they will just take it as a joke. After that, it gets pretty disgusting.

 

I think you should be married for at least a few years. I would never fart in front of a chick that wasn't a family member tbh

I don't think farting in front of a significant other needs to be such a big life choice. Either your comfortable doing it or your not. It depends on the person.

 

I fart in front of my girlfriend, becuz its funny. I try to be real with her, but she never farts in front of me, maybe 3 times.. and we live 2gether and have for 2.5 years.

 

Only if it's accidental, and you should always say sorry if you do.

If you have to fart and you know it, just say "excuse me" and go into another room and relieve yourself of your pressure outside of ear and nose shot.

Tbh it shows disrespect if you purposely fart in-front of anyone. So unless your relationship is based off disrespect do so.

I have been dating my girlfriend for about 2 years. Her and I are very comfortable together and do fart and stuff around each other.

I'd say the real point where it doesn't matter is once you have sex. At this point, she is comfortable enough to have intercourse with you, she can damn well put up with some gas.

It is kind of funny too, when you fart.... Just hope they don't reek!

I'm married, and I've been with my wife for 5 years now. I'm 22, we got married when we were 17, because she got pregnant. When we first started dating, yes I was shy around her, but after the first few months, you get used to it and if she really truely likes you, she won't care if you make a fool of yourself in front of her.

 

My ex girlfriend farted in front of me and i was like..."uh..." then she said "I dont care if you fart in front of me, its natural"

So after that i never held it in :O

 

To be honest it depends what shes like. I once dated a girl who said she never farts, then when I caught her out she was like "OGAWD". Just do it if you think she wont mind.
