Registration Not Working?

For some reason, I cannot make a new account here on Sythe.

I know I shouldn't be, but I do not like this account, I want to make a new name. But everytime I try, after I click "Register" after I fill out all the information, it goes to a white, blank page....

Does this happen for anybody else?

 

Sythe went down not so long ago, that maybe the reason why.

 

I've heard of this happening to a few people, but haven't been able to narrow down the problem yet. Registration is open, and most people don't have trouble with it: try with a different browser maybe, or ask a friend to help you register.

 

I believe this happens when either:

1. The site is down (or going extremely slow).
2. You answered the human verification question incorrectly/left it blank and clicked submit. I think this causes the system to stop you from registering.

 

So...
I go to a friend's house. Doesn't work.
School? No.
A different friend's? Nope.
iPhone? Nada.

Also, tried Safari, Google Chrome, Netscape, IE, and Opera. All failed.

^Then it must be you failing any of the human verification questions.

 

I wouldn't doubt it, but I have tried at LEAST 10 times at each place I go. Oh well.

 

EVERY time, it is a WHITE page, full white and the URL is http://sythe.org/register.php?do=addmember

 

Try PM'ing an Admin and ask them to make you the account. Give them the neccessary details, and they may make it for you.

Just put "No".... >_>.

 

I presume he meant he tried different combinations after the plain "No" was rejected.

Yes, but they Never get back to me. I even tried to ask Finn to change my name, but he said no, and I was like why? I have been trying to change my name for at least 2 months now...

 

I just tested it... Works fine for me.

Now I just tested not putting "no" in the scam question and not putting a full name ("blah blah" - type thing) and guess what. Its a white page. Its not sythe. Its you.

 

I had this same problem. I tried different browsers, delete cookies/cache everything that I could think of. After weeks, I finally got it to work by going through a proxy. The one that I tried ended up being based in Canada, if it matters. Worked as it should through a proxy.

 

^Then maybe its an IP blocking issue of some sort.

 

Maybe, I really hate my internet. Haha.

Hey SuF, I got it to work on a Netherlands Proxy, BUT...
If I try to login on Sythe.org without a proxy, it won't let me.
