Regarding Java...

You Guys know that Java Lags intentionaly, its not due to so many players and so many sprites to load or what ever, CP for A java based game like Runescape can make a game screen lag intentionally

 

well, look at java's progress. Today you can make a full 3d game in java without lag... www.wurm.com . Try that game out It has awesome graphics, and it's pure Java.

 

i think or atleast i hope that most people that play rs alredy know that ... but as spe said java has made amazing progress

oh? it doesn't lag at all for me. Then it must be because of your computer specs. I run on full graphics and no lag.

 

Yea i have to agree. You are totally wrong about the lag. Most java programs run smoothly these days. It must be because your computer is eaither ancient or you dont have the right Java stuff installed. GET AN UPDATE!!!

 

I'd just like to comment that java is the best game programming language their is for man reasons- And its not Java that lags...its the server, it depends on what server your using to make it online...for example, are you using Hamachi? My point here is its not Java that lags.
