Last night when I was out at the pub, me and my mates had, had a few to many and decided to spend £50 on scratch cards each (I know, very stupid but we were messy and it seemed like a good idea at the time.) After leaving the shop I saw my ex who I hadn't seen in 2-3 years and she looked fit (Beer goggles ftl) So I left my friends and flirted with her for the rest of the night got home went to bed and forgot completely about the scratch cards. So...This morning I wake up with my pocket full, put my hand in saw the scratch cards. (Insert face-palm here) Also take in mind I lost my job the other week so really can't afford to waste money on that crap. So I scratched them all and I won.....(Drum-roll.....) Holy shit £250,000 (Will upload pics once I find my usb for my phone) jackpot, I told my mum, my dad, my family and my friends... Phoned up lotto for more information on claiming my prize, I was told to write my information on the ticket and post it. Which I did and it cost me an extra £5 for special recorded delivery. The rest of the story would take a while to explain all the ins and out's so I'll just sum it up. My "mate...." Bought 2 fake winning scratch-cards of the internet identical to the ones the local shops sells, he put one in my pocket and one in my other mates pocket. (This is true because me and my friend who also fell for this counted the scratch-cards and we both had 51) So I'm now in the process of calling friends/family to explain actually I didn't win £250,000 my cunt of a mate gave me a fake ticket.. What a shit day :S And to rub salt in the wound the only other winning ticket I had was £2 which doesn't even cover posting the fake ticket.
Yeah I know mate, worst part was I really wasn't expecting it and actually thought I'd won 250 grand :/

Wow.. that's a bit of tough luck. I've been fortunate enough to not have the jackass friends ballsy enough to pull that. Props to them though! They got you pretty good ;] Lol.
Only problem with that is I'm already on a reprimand for abh last year and my friend was messy, I can name 4+ substances he consumed that day so it would be unfair to kick the shit out of him.
