Re-Formatted my computer.

Hey, i've just reformatted my computer using the Windows Vista Home Premium disk provided when i purchased my PC.

I expected my whole C:\ Drive to be erased, but i come back from the ~2 hour reformat process only to find i still only have 85GB Free of 200GB in C:\.

Why am i still using up 115GB, even though my whole desktop has been cleared along with all programs including word of warcraft etc?

EDIT: It seems world of warcraft, along with other games, are still installed on my computer. Why is this?

Also, when i run WoW and click play, i get this message:
Failed to find a suitable display device. Exiting program.

 

You probably said to keep all of your programs instead of a full wipe.

 

I don't recall doing so, but now i have found a folder in C:\Program Files.

It's called Windows.old.

It contains everything i had before the reformat, approx 100GB - is it safe to delete it?

Yes it is, it's just all your old crap.

 

Yeah just that folder and you will be good to go. you mustve upgraded somehow. It did that to me when I upgraded and didn't do a clean install.
