Over the weekend was Nocturnal Wonderland, had a crazy time and met some amazing people, most of whom i don't remember.

If anyone here is from California and raves, did you go to Nocturnal Wonderland?

It's a squeal to Nocturnal Wonderland, i met a lot of people who flew from other states just to come for the event so i thought i would make this thread to show everyone about the event. The website helps you plan flights and book hotels if you're interested.

i went to a "rave" type party that a few kids from my school put on one time. needless to say, about 700 people went, from all the highschools in town, and it was awesome. seeing as how ill be going to college next year, im sure ill be able to go to more. anways, the thing i went too was alot of fun. i didnt pop a molly(most of my friends did), and i feel like that woulda made it a hell of a lot more fun, but im not really into that st00f. anyways, that event looks sick, wish i lived in so cal..

 

I have the Quad in Atlanta, which is pretty big. I've been several times. It's fun I guess, but I still don't like the type of music and I've never understood how people can dance to it. I've only been when was I was really fucked up, which is probably the only reason it was that enjoyable. I only went because I have friends who are into it and also there are a lot of sluts there lol. Other than that, I'm not into raving mainly because I just don't like the music. I haven't been for a few months, just because I'd much rather spend my money on a show I really want to go to. I can't even afford to go to shows I want to go to at the moment.

 

Dayglow looks like a ton of fun

There's been one big one in my city every year and that is pre much it. That's pre much it though since the days of when people used to break into warehouses and shit and host massive raves there. Only issue is that i was way too young to go to a rave back then haha

 

If you've been to an actual rave before you'll hate Dayglow. I've never gone to an event and been pissed off but that did it. There are nothing but fake ravers that try to act like they're die hard ravers. You live in Ohio i think i read somewhere, you have EDM and a Crizzly pass-through coming in a few months, if you want the full experience and enjoy that kind of music i suggest checking it out. I can get you some details if you like.

Locking (the dance) looks pretty cool when you do it in the dark with those glow sticks people use when raving.

DatSik will be at the bluestone in Columbus Thursday, which actually i'm quite jealous of because it's suppose to be insane, twitter is blowing up because of the event.

I've read that you work like 70+ hours a week so i don't know how flexible your schedule is with that.

Figuring you would need to get some time off, december 4th the "red light district" has a light festival, there are suppose to be 6 dj's including SHM.

i live in scranton, we have tours pass through here all the time. i think EDM is coming in a few weeks if im not mistaken.

 

Do people visit because of The Office? I'd figure..

 

I almost went to this, but couldn't really justify the $100+ or so to myself, especially with the mixed reviews I heard. Maybe sometime in the future.
