Ranging Guild

How much EXP/hr would I get? I'll be around level 40 Range.
Would it be more effective if I used items such as Robin hood hat, archers' ring, amulet of ranging etc? If so, how much more effective?

Probably more or less.

 

This. I highly recommend you don't bother with the ranging guild, it was a viable option when there was a bot for it, but now it's not something you should consider using if you want to train your range effectively (not to mention your not gaining any hp experience). If I we're you I would try training range anywhere you can range + use a cannon (bandits, rock crabs, ect..) then move onto soulwars or chinning if you can afford it.

 

Ranging guild isnt good xp in my opinion.

 

There's a bot available for it on Simba I believe.

If you don't have a bot though, it's terrible xp.

Ranging Guild is 15-25k an hour depending if you concentrate or not. I only suggest it if you are a 10 HP Range Pure as you don't receive HP XP in the guild

 

About 25K, I'd say but, becareful of ban if you're botting.

 

you get banned there easy and at that lvl you gain about 20k exp/hr, ppl do it when they don't want hp lvled up.

and archer's ring robin hood hat does indeed matter.

I'd definitely stock up on Knives and go to Rock Crabs/Yaks/somewhere similar.

I got to ~97 Range on my Range Tank almost entirely at Rock Crabs using Iron Knives. Didn't take as long as it sounds, either.

 

About 20k XP a hour, I'd say crabs or experiments at your ranged level.
A cannon would be useful too.
And ofcourse Robin/Archer's etc matters, but it's not necessary.
