    im level 66 range and have 71 def if that helps i need helps like what should i use crossbow or bow and if wich ammo is the best for it and gear please and thank you :)

    At your range cannon is probably better than chins. Gear wise maybe void? Just cannon or knive to 70 then you have much more: arma, Karlils, black d hide etc

    Not to venture off topic here, but what exactly is your goal? You're worried about maxing your damage, but specifically for PvP or training?

    Well, void would be recommendable with rune knifes or rune cross bow with broad bolts I guess.
    Snake skin boots or ranger boots with an amulet of ranging and a completed zammy god book iluminated!

    use black knifes robin rangers boots and d hide until you can get arma at 70 range
