What do you do.. when you can get on MSN and other programs, but the internet itself won't work?

 

by internet do you mean IE or firefox? or the internet connection? whats happens also? does it come up with a error or just plain not even open?

Reset your connection. Unplug your router and modem wait a moment and plug it back in.
