Rage session

I must admit, I am slightly shy around people I don't know that well...

But when people tell me how shy I am, it fucking pisses me off, because that's the last thing I want to be - 'shy'.
I try so hard to fit in and be sociable and outgoing, but my parents think that I am shy and I act so protective about it, it's like they think I'm socially retarded.

And it annoys me so much!

as long as your 14 or older and it's a peer or friend who tells you your shy.
Just say "fuck you" then you won't seem so shy.
And in a joking way of course.

 

Do you care what other people think about you? If so you're probably shy.
I actually used to be shy but now I'm not, I stopped caring about what people think of me so I started doing stuff I wouldn't normally do.

My advice is stop trying to fit in. You are who you are, quit judging yourself everytime you enter a convosation. Don't "try", just be who you are and if somone doesn't like it then it's simple: dont talk to them.
