Quick question about RiD

That powerminer, they says it is free, but my friend said that it is free only for 1 hour, after that it will pay?

 

I believe they make you buy credits after that for their bot. So yeah after an hour it'll ask you to purchase credits.

I'm pretty sure it's free indefinitely. I have used it for multiple hours without it asking me to buy anything. I just looked at my stats and I have mined 15k iron ore, and it has never asked me to buy anything. So I am pretty sure it is always free.

Not necessarily. Simba has a lot of scripts like the powerminer but they can bank and do many other things RID can't do.

 

RiD's Powerminer is free, and has always been free. It now even has mousekey dropping, meaning you can get up to 42k exp an hour powermining iron. Banking for mining is retardedly low profit, and you're better off going for exp, and doing better things that actually profit 500-2000k an hour instead.

No one has ever been banned using it following Guidelines, and ~10 breaking Guidelines since it's release in early 2010. It's easily the best choice if you actually care enough about your account to never want it banned. I've used the powerminer for 400 hours, and it was the first bot I ever tried at RiD. I got 1-85 mining on a brand new lvl 3 with 'rid' in the name in 24 days. I also witnessed my bot be reported over 30 times, even by a player mod during my time babysitting. It still has 0 offenses. That says it enough for me.

 

I'd say that, or Simbas All in one mining script. I've been using it for several months on multiple accounts and none have been banned. It's a pretty reliable script too, definitely worth checking out.

 

It's alright, but imo not worth it ^^ stick with simbas even though it's hella mainstream

 

Not worth what LOL? The power miner is free, and it is so human-like it's amazing.

OP: Even if you were to pay to use the other scripts, the cost of credits averages out to only cost you like 8 cents an hour. For the kind of performance you get, that's an epic price.

So, it get stuck when first inventory is full of ores, if i change tab from skills -> inventory and then press resume it starts dropping. Have i done something wrong?

 

Are you sure you have your game chat set to 'All' instead of 'Filter'? That could cause an issue like this. Also, when the bot gets a full invent, a text menu pops up where your rs chatbox is, and that tells the bot that it's time to drop the ores.

I've never liked RiD, I only used it when the bot nuke first happened and they ran like shit. I like Simba, if you don't like any of the public scripts(which some of them are actually very nice) you could always find a scripter to make a script that'll fit your needs.

 

Not to mention, the community over at Villavu is fantastic. Really intelligent and helpful.
