Quick DNS Question/Suggestion

I'm not sure if this would go under the DNS list, because the DNS says Rep/Thanks referring to thanking people for rep, or if it is just a simple thanking posts with no rep.

Well, I've seen a LOT of exceptional, well-written posts recently, and I always wanted to be able to Thank the poster, instead of wasting a post or being reported for saying something nice about the post. Now, I'm not sure if the thanks system itself is against the DNS list, I was just wondering because of this slew of outstanding posts. If it is on the DNS list then just lock and deny this, thank you very much.
