Question

I'd like to start playing WoW, but I got a question in my mind.

Do I need to buy the game and expansions in order to play online? Or can I just pay the monthly fee and enjoy the gametime?

 

You don't need the game expanions. However, If you only buy the first wow, then you will only be able to get up to level 60. If you want your cap raised and new areas opened you will need to get burning crusade, and same goes for going from level 70 to 80 and wrath of the lich king.

 

you gotta buy vanilla wow. which is basically slang for World of Warcraft, without expansions. you normally get 60 days free game time if purchased from the store. So to play online the minimum you need is vanilla wow.

It's up to you at that point if you want to buy TBC which is the burning crusade, its the first expansion.

The second expansion is WOTLK which is wrath of the lich king, you wont get extra gametime from buying expansions. but you get higher levels and more content.

Gametime is purchased seperately.

I got a problem, the only method I have for paying is through paypal , and I leave in EU, but in www.wow-europe.com, I can't purchase WoW Vanilla through paypal Could someone help me?
