Because people are sad price manipulators...

I seriously doubt a trade for d claws that involved over 20M or 100 USD has succeeded on sythe. For that matter, i don't think anyone bought d claws for over 40M (that was on the first day they came out.) They are all scammers/price manipulators so beware. All the crap you see on sythe and the rs forums are fake.

 

Although dragon claws have a trade price of approx. 3 million, the street price is much higher due to high demand and low drop rates. And buy d claws, I have seen dragon claws go for as much as 100m in world 2, so 20m is not realistic at all.

 

Because they are hard to obtain as a drop, therefore they dont sell in g/e, like items such as 3rd age. They are used to sell "junk" items that people cant sell. If people want to sell their claws, but dont have junk to make the price higher, then the bh'ing method is used. "buy d claws", I've successfully sold many claws for over 20m. Claws are worth up to 100m if you have junk, and up to 50m without.
