hello.
So I recently joined this site to do Some trading. First trade i got scammed so not a Good first timer. I see People with donation ranks. Is it worth to get one to start and build trust? If so How do I donate?

 

Donations doesnt equal trust.

You shoud look at there vouches, and see what there vouches are for.

For example

A) He has sold 100b rsgp and claims to be vouched for 100B, but he went first in all trades. That doesnt mean he is trusted is he?
B) Some guy has done 100 trades for 500m value, but he did services on peoples acc and none of them had issues.

Donating is a good way to build first-sight trust, but on the long run it isn't really worth it

1000 vouches 5$ donor
0 vouches 1000$ donor

people will most likely go to the 5$ donor

 

High donation amount != trust
There's been numerous users with a decent number of vouches and high donor amount who have scammed in the last month i.e. Hacked by StickTalk
In fact, donating a lot of money as a new user is a red flag, because people who do that are usually ban evaders.

I strongly disagree. Someone who has sold 100b is probably a goldfarmer, who usually go first to websites or gold resellers. When buying something, I look for proof that the user is able to deliver what they're selling. The goldfarmer's vouches prove they have the ability to provide a lot of GP, while the service provider's vouches do not. Furthermore, a goldfarmer earning 3b+/week has much less of an incentive to scam than a service provider earning at most a few hundred dollars per week.
