Question (Someone Please Help?)

I am new to sythe and Am looking to sell my runescape account.
I have a paypal account and was offered $850 dollars for it.
He offered to go first but im a little skeptical about all of this.
Is there anyway I can get scammed if he goes first?

If your using paypal, then he can file a claim, and get his money back.(He tells paypal that you scammed him or something)

 

Don't do it you're new which means you're inexperienced which means it's likely you'll get scammed.

 

What is the safeway to do it then?

 

Wait until you're older, or find a friend IRL who has done it before.

 

Tell him to send it threw mail, thats the only way to make sure you will get it.

Make sure you tell him its not your responsibility if it gets lost though.

 

Or, Read some guides here in Sythe and tell him to Claim & cancel and also make him confirm he owns the PayPal account, Or tell him to gift the money.

Claiming and Cancelling doesn't always work, if the scammer is credit card funded then he can report that his CC was stolen and get the money back

 

I think I will tell him to send it through mail.

a middle man is worth the extra 20 bucks.

 

Mail or WU work good. If he used a CC on Paypal you'd notice a fee deduction.

 

Whether or not he used a CC on his paypal, its best to avoid it especially for such a big trade. EVERY payment can be reversed, no matter what you do.
