    Question about Skrill

Hey guys, I've seen a lot of people asking for payment through Skrill, so i looked it up and its pretty much Paypal. So my question is how is it any different/why do people prefer this over Paypal?

    Question about Skrill

People prefer it as they are not as one sided in terms of payment disagreements/chargebacks as PayPal are. They often side with the seller, and acknowledge virtual sales.

This doesn't mean you are immune from chargebacks, just means the probability of winning a chargeback case is higher.

    Question about Skrill

In addition to what Sellerman said, I'm pretty sure there is no "chargeback" option on Skrill, where you can file a claim on paypal very easily, so the only way to chargeback/dispute a payment on Skrill is to call them up. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.

    Question about Skrill

Skrill is also a major company that allows its users to upload funds directly onto gambling related websites. Paypal isn't associated with these sites, so depending on what the user wants to use their funds for, skrill gives you more options in relations to what paypal can't be used for.. if that made any sense.

    Question about Skrill

Less chance of chargebacks, doesnt check your identity as much, not quite as safe if you're dealing with somebody you think might scam you.
