So how exactly does a seller go about doing this? What's to stop the buyer from saying they never received their order?

 

They record transactions or take pictures of trading the account that the buyer specified to receive the gold on.

 

Pretty much this. If a buyer claims that the gp wasn't delivered, then the seller will need to show proof of delivery to PA (I suggest recording every trade you ever do and keeping the recordings handy in case anything ever goes wrong.)

Another thing you will need to watch out for, is to NEVER trade a sale to a person if they aren't trading w/ the account that was named on playerauctions. If you allow that to happen, they can easily claim the item/cash was never delivered.
