question about friends

i normally don't ask advice from the spam forum ...but i can't tell my friends about this


well one of my close friend failed a course in university but i passed it with a D.

the professor who teaches the course knows my father really well ,yesterday he met him and told him : tell nagib(me) not to tell anyone that we know each other

reason :

my close friend who failed went to his office and asked him how come nagib passed and i failed implying that because the professor knows my father he gave me a D not F ...


i gave him a ride this morning to university with me .... my question what should i do should i seek revenge or not say anything and let it go??
