Pure question.

I have an initiate pure that is soon to be 70 Attack 99 Strength 25 Defence. I like this because it doesn't force me do put a whole lot of effort into questing, and I can just play off my stats. I was thinking that staying at 25 defence might get boring though, and I was thinking about going into a 40-45 Defence pure. What is keeping me on the fence though is questing. I am fine with grinding out a torso, a defender, you name it; but I really dislike questing and I want to keep my pure to a barebones minimum when it comes to quests. If I were to switch into a berserker, would I need to complete alot of quests other than MM, Fremminik Trials, and Dragon Slayer to be an effective pure?

What im trying to get at is, can I skimp on the quests and just focus on getting what I can without doing a good amount of those and still be effective?

 

You can keep rune gloves. But still have to do lunars etc.

You will feel really accomplished getting barrow gloves though.

It's a shame to see alot of maxed 40-45 def accounts with rune gloves risking firecape torso and bring when they could have even more bonuses with b gloves and open alot more opportunities in the game.

Although with 25 defence you can still get into some clans.


40-45 defence has higher reqs more return sets and less options for clans

Pures have it easier

 

Basically the higher your defence, the more quests you should do.
