Pure Help Please

Hey guys and gals.

I've been think about making a new pure, but i dont know which kind i should make, 1 def sounds fun because there are a lot of clans around who specialise in that. But on the other hand, i dont want to be dying every two seconds, and i want to be able to do a few bosses once in a while.

Please post your suggestions here for what kind of pure i should make, all feedback is appreciated. Thanks (apart from obby maulers, dont like them...)

 

I prefer zerkers because I feel you have a bit more scope regarding what you can do. There's a lot more different combos etc you can do, just makes it really fun. Plus the loot's a lot better.

 

I prefer 1 defence, your combat level wont be near the good zerkers, or 70 def+ mains.

My pure.
is a turm prod, and tbh i dislike him, i'm stuck with the maxed zerkers and 70+def mains, no one is my def level, so im handicapped, you can still PVM on a 1-30 def accounts, i do it all the time. I would stick to the low pure clan areas for awhile, and progress slowly.

 

Inpersonally love 30 def turm pures. They rape all

 

i'de go with range tank :3 there fun to pk with and you can hit some crazy combos and i personally think a maxed range tank/brid owns a maxed acc that trys to brid if you know how to do it :3

I'd go for a 1 defence pure. I'm a little biased, as they're the only ones I've ever made, but they're a lot of fun, and you can get some awesome kills with them.

 

1 Defence Pure because not only are they fun, but they also are very effective especially while pking.

You can also hit very high depending on your strength level if you are a 1 defence pure. I've seen a level 53 with 99 strength and he was hitting over 35s.

 

Like Brendan, I have only ever made 1 defence pures. They are very fun and you are a lower combat level due to 1 defence. If you have 43 prayer, it won't matter about defence, just bring prayer pots + wear good prayer bonus gear

Ive been playing since 2006, so I still personally love the old style pkers. 1 defence, 60 attack, 80+ range and strength, 43 prayer, DT done, etc.

Not only are they classic, but cheap as hell to make, cheap as hell to maintain and make crazy bank. most pkers nowdays in the 60-70 cb area are low level tanks, so their stats are never good and they risk like 2-3m. if you play a few hours a day in pvp you can make 2-5m.

and why i say that you only make so much is because you lose a bit too. youll die probably die just as much as you kill because of mage fags. but the gear you wear is extremely cheap

If you are having trouble deciding, then I suggest doing a 1-def pure. You can always do more quests to get more defense, but you can't go backwards. It would be pretty bad if you were to do like 40 hours worth of questing, hundreds of hours of training, and then end up not liking playing as a zerker. This way, you can max out a 1-def, and just train it up when you want to.
