PSN down sadface

It's been down since Wednesday. Really pissing me off.
I heard Sony is going to have to fully rebuild the Playstation Network, I guess the hackers really fucked it up.

I feel sorry for the kids who bother with this shit. Pathetic.

 

Wellll, honestly when stuff I use regularly doesn't work, it pisses me off. I don't use PSN, so idc..

On a similar but different note, I think people should go after big companies like this more often. It really creates quite a fuss when this stuff happens, and I'm sure there's a few places people are unhappy with that deserve something similar.

 

I believe that it is just one 19 year old kid that has successfully hacked into the system because of getting banned for using some kind of hack/mod for CoD.

I just heard that news of it somewhere though I can't recall.

 

I love PSN, it doesn't go down a lot.
I'm just pissed off that finally when I get 2 days off from work, it's down

 

thats whats good about xbox i got ps3 but id rather play mw2/black ops on xbox cuz its personally a better challenge and that gay black ops ps3 shit it laggy as FUCK!

 

If I played PSN I'd be so pissed.

You'd think a corporation this big would have everything running smoothly without any failures whatsoever. (Yes I understand shit happens but still)

 

pretty pissed about it. mostly cus it happens on easter break when I was planning on pullin an all nighter on cod..whatever I guess.

And I highly doubt it was Anonymous. They really can't do shit generally except every retard downloading the LOIC then firing it at one IP..

 

I agree, the people that hack are completely pathetic. Does PSN even know the source of the hacker, there are no clues what so ever?

 

They thought it was the group "anonymous" or whatever, but they already said they didn't have a part in it.

 

Didn't you hear? Sony shut down their own servers due to people figuring out a way to use fake CC's to buy playstation content for free. They only put up that cover story so that the problem didn't worsen.

Sony is just mad.

 

I'm sorry but, I'd rather people know that other people were using fake cc's to buy stuff, rather than getting hacked.

Getting hacked is a kick in the face, especially for such a large company like that.

You may all think it was just one guy, correct. Well, it wasn't just him, he can't just hack into the server without a little bit of help(unless he is somewhat of a genius), he did receive a little help from some Sony employee's to get into the network and scramble it all up.

The idea came from 'Anonymous' and they have a site, which I won't say because it will probably get me banned, but it has a 4 in it.

 

the hacker stole the info from users too..... my c-card is attached to psn store fml

 

It took Sony about a week to discover that the account data may have be compromised... -.- That's a disgrace and a serious matter, with over 70 million PSN accounts registered. I hope I get my money back on my PSN+ subscription and my DLCs, and I aint ever gonna use my credit card with them again.

Seriously though, thats pretty disappointing and a bit daunting that Sony could get hacked like that.

Anyone want to take a bet that suicide rates will rise marginally? Or Depression cases?
