Prioritize TwC's

This is circular reasoning. Why not just make it not require admin CP access in the first place?

 

I'm pretty sure that's not doable, within the current restrictions of vB.
Not to say you couldn't code a way for that to be possible.

Giving user ranks / groups requires ability to change ones account. Which generally requires administration.

Edit: I'd totally support if an admin was to implement a way for mods to do this, sounds like a really good idea.

 

They could just receive a temp ban until the TWC is in place? If someone is worthy of receiving a TWC, they should be worthy of a temp ban until that TWC is in place as well.

 

That's not really fair. In this instance, the guy would be banned for 4+ days

 

The community wouldn't be hurting from it at all, and that dude deserved straight out ban instead of TWC anyway imo.

Don't do something to get a TWC if you don't want to risk a temp ban until the TWC is in place imo.

 

Although this is true to an extent you can't just throw bans at people without adequate proof, and I do agree that this users actions could be deemed suspicious but he hasn't actually broken any rules and therefore a ban would be unwarranted.

In theory, your correct, it would be a good preemptive measure in order to stop scammers but you could still end up banning users who do not deserve it by accident for four days leading to community users becoming alienated from the community.

I believe it would be a great idea, if possible, to extend the power of those who can issue TWC's to other members of staff which will make the process quicker and more efficient. I don't really see how this could impact negatively on the community.
