basically i got banned 6 months ago and just started playing again. botting mostly, but i looked at the ge and was curious how did the prices of rares and items jump so freakin high, santa was like 24m when i left now its 93m. r they getting merched or that just how the so called rs "economy" is playing out?

 

There was a mega red party hat and santa merch where like 2k santas and 700 red party's were bought. like a long time ago, now I have 3 santas and no party hat though=[ still hoping santas rise.

 

well kinda pissed now lol santa is my fav item and i had one on my banned account. looks like i wont be getting one anytime soon unless they crash....

Santas are the last buyable (and wearable) rare... All that's happening is they're following the trend of masks and phats etc. Only reason the rise is so fast is cuz of noobs jumping on the bandwagon before they are unbuyable.

All the items went up becouse of the pvp/bh worlds update which keeps bringing more gp to rs and effects runescape economy.
