Preventing a PayPal chargeback

Would this work?

Say you receive a payment via PayPal. You then withdraw that payment to your bank account, and remove your bank account from your PayPal account. Following after that, you close your PayPal account.

 

No, this does not work.
They still can claim it back, after you've removed your paypal account.
Happened to me also, but I had no problems >_<

 

If you've cashed out the money, and then close your PayPal account, and then the buyer files a claim, will PayPal track you down and make you pay up?

 

Maybe. If it's a big trade.

 

Takes too long to close an account for that, the buyer will file a claim instantly. Also you cannot close your account while unsettled claims are in effect AND even if you manage to withdraw the money prior to him charging back your paypal will just get a negative balance.

 

Paypal will email you saying you owe money, then if u don't respond they will send you mail at post office. Further more they can get law envolved if they want.
