Potential Rares?

I was always wondering if the golden cracker would become rare. Or if the Orange And Yellow Halloween costumes or the broomstick would become rare. What are your guys opinions? Thanks ^_^ :noworry:

 

You can't get the golden cracker and halloween costumes anymore, so they're rare. Luckely they are also untradable.

Broomstick is a quest reward.

 

In rs, a "rare" is something that's tradeable that can't be obtained anymore.

Well Im still going to hang on mine for as long as i can.

 

Scythe,yoyo,war ship , All costume event are rare even if theyr not tradable they just dont have a Value in the Runescape market. But some ppl are ready to pay to get an account with them.

Id pay over 60$+ For a level 3 with a scythe and all costume event.

 

They won't become "rares" any time in the near future.

Many thousands of accounts have those items.

 

yeah well i dont care. Im saying like 5 years.

 

i will pretty much guarantee you that there will never be any rares that are at the calibur of current rares

Not on sythe, where people are buying accounts.

 

I really doubt Runescape will even still be around in 5 years. If it is then it will be very different and almost no one will play it.

Technically, they'll be rarer, but over a million accounts have all of the things that you've mentioned soo...

 

I know i mean i have a little more than that. like 10th aniversary cake and what not.

 

man eventually itll be a downloadable game. its business, things will change when the time comes. everyday new people play, the new kids growing up will play and then the other kids behind them will as well, if you catch my drift.

 

yeah, i see your point there. I mean its not a bad game it has its flaws though. And if they fix that it will be a much more enjoyable game. I always wanted them to make it playable on consoles like xbox. That would be sick.

I doubt jagex are going to have any more tradeable rares. Apparently, partyhats+santas+h'ween masks, etc were a mistake.

 

This is very hard to guess if they will be classified as a rare or not, at the time you might think they won't.

But then say that in 5years? I bet Golden Crackers will be worth something then?

 

I'll try to look for a citation but I believe Jagex has stated numerous times that they never plan on making any TRADEABLE "rare items" anymore.
