So, I've been noticing random bookmarks in my Google Chrome browser for JCPenny women's shoes and Guitar Tabs, but I have not visited either. I also looked in my history and found some spanish website of which I have never visited. I am the only one who uses this computer, and I'm sure none of my family members would even visit those sites.

I scan my computer quite frequently (2-3 times a week) considering that I play WoW and I'd hate to have my account stolen. As for the network I'm on, it has a password of which I find to be a difficult password that no one should be able to figure out. The antivirus scanner I use is Microsoft Security Essentials, and when I've done these scans it has never detected any threat.

Can anyone tell me what might be the problem?

Are they only recently occuring? Maybe you have had the bookmarks saved previously from when someone in your family may have accessed them.
First thing you could do is of course, ask your family if they have used your computer. No point assuming, if you aren't fully sure.

MSE is a great antivirus, but i would also recommend the free version of Malware Bytes. Just run the scan when you download it and every so often, just to keep your computer in top form. I have noticed that occasionally MSE will NOT pick up something that Malware Bytes would.

    Give it a shot.

Perhaps your mom is using your computer when you're not looking lol. If not, I'd suggest getting some sort of good anti virus (NOD 32).
