If moderators don't follow the rules themselves, they lose their status; there is a set of guidelines that staff must follow on top of the rules. As for corrupt moderators, the moderators of this forum are only users themselves, we aren't paid, and we spend our free time on this forum because we feel like it. Some moderators just give up and go, and others prefer to go out with a bang, because they don't care about the forum any more. Moderators sometimes get hacked, and in cases like Tenguage12, some break the rules.
