Pool tournament options

We're back to pool again, as it was next most voted in the tournament poll. I originally had said that we'd use funorb.com but I thought I'd ask if there's another that you guys'd prefer to use.

The three options I have personally are:

• Funorb
  As planned. Easy to match up with your opponent but retro looking game with 'clunky' controls.
  
• Miniclip
  It's next best to the late omgpop IMO, however it's difficult and glitchy to start a game with someone from my experience. Can also be downloaded on the app store and be played there which may suit some people.
• Freeonlinegames.com
  Not really used it but it seems to be one of the most used alongside miniclip

I'm aware there's a copied version of omgpop but I'd rather stay clear of that.

 

FunOrbs, easier, faster, most of us already have a account and they have alot of games to choose from.

 

FunOrb seems the best option to me.

Miniclip is nice but remember the connection problems we had lol, we couldn't find each other when searching.

Funorb is ok.

 

I play 8 ball pall on my iPhone at the moment and its fairly good,
Although some connection issues it isn't as bad as people think.

 

I play pool on miniclip. Its so far better than other mini game sites.

 

Funorb is fine.

 

Funorb is good, worked perfectly last time.

 

I would say that the most efficient pool game is hosted on by YAHOO!.

You should look into it, unless it has been looked into before as an option.

Anyway, hope to see this go through as I'd love to participate.

Fast matchups would mean fast results.

Would stick to Miniclip.

 

Voted Funorb. Never played pool online. I play pool in real life multiple times a week. On a division 2 league, so wanting to play everyone here! Best of luck.

 

Miniclip's got the best pool game, I'd say.

 

I am inclined to say Miniclip so I voted for that. It's a better pool and is basically the same as the OMGPOP version...

Also, I was banned on a ton of my accounts so... =].

 

QQ Games has pool. It's probably the best and most user friendly setup. Requires a download though.

Have been playing it on and off for 5 years now. It was an AIM supported game. Definitely would look into it.

 

It's pretty close, so based on the connectivity issues partnering up on Miniclip we'll just stick with what we were going to use originally. At least it's somewhat new for everyone then. Get some practise in with each other before you play for real and it'll be grand.
