Who even are you? Not trying to be a dick, it's just weird.

Extremely limited activity over the last few years, gets a staff rank seemingly out of nowhere.

    Not really impressed imo
Since getting promoted, seems mod activities seem limited compare to the newly promoted mods from the past
Hope to see activities pick up

@Poat is a standup individual and I think we will see him as a Sythe mod for a very long duration!

@Bubly from my time spent in the official Sythe discord, Poat seemed to be active there.

@Syber we should remember that we have a volunteer based staff, there are probably limitations on what they can and can't do as a new staff member, and there's definitely going to be a learning curve on some of the forum's functions when you gain moderator permissions. (Not that this invalidates your feedback, good on you for speaking your mind)

As for Poat's feedback from me: thank you for stepping up and volunteering your time for a staff position. From what I have seen randomly browsing the forums you are doing well. The only constructive feedback I can give: use the "preview post" function so you can spell check your posts. I have seen a few spelling or grammar errors here and there, it may seem like a small thing but it helps make you look more professional

    Poor ruling.

Jagex wouldn't just randomly lock the account after 18 months without a reason to.

If they did, there would be thousands of reports.

I hope the $ was worth it.

There is precedent for Jagex randomly disabling accounts and then locking them after recovery actually. As well as the ruling was discussed by multiple members of staff and not made without collaboration.

If you have any evidence of corruption please feel free to report it where it will be taken seriously, otherwise please don't make false accusations.

I've had an individual reach out to me (not 18 months) but a long period of time after a sale in which his account got locked. There are numerous factors that can play into it such as GP buying, servicing, VPN usage & so on. Having a lock this late, while uncommon, can still occur.

Garbage ruling on the locked account. Jagex only locks accounts like this when there is suspicious activity making them investigate it, like a recovery by the original owner.

Also, god damn, over a month to settle a report. Anyone else would have been given maybe a week?

If a jagex account gets locked, that is the SELLERS FAULT, the seller should have a warranty for this, given it's a black market item.

If you buy drugs from overseas, and the shipment gets seized, it's the sellers fault, and they replace the shipment.

Your ruling is poor, and unjust for the buyer, leaving sellers to freely do what they want and even try get the account locked themselves, without any repercussion.

But as always, because the buyer doesn't provide any value to Sythe in terms of $$$$, you're always going to favour the seller as they're more than likely a $300+ donor.

Don't forget, the buyer @Bluuurr bought a 'lifetime' warranty. On an account @RS Phoenix is not the original owner of and struggles to contact the creator.

Yet @Poat found him not liable after more than a month. This is laughable.

I totally agree, and the fact he's still selling accounts he's most definitely not the OO of is crazy.

On his profile he states "0 exceptions" to buying accounts from people? But will still sell/advertise accounts that he doesn't have full control over.

Uncommon would have to be an understatement here.

What happened in your situation, out of curiosity - did you restore access or was it GG well played better luck next time?

Brozer, if your good pal RS Phoenix cannot restore full access (unlocked) then he's in breach of his T&C's with his lifetime warranty.

Yet he receives no punishment and the person who bought the account (with lifetime warranty) gets fucked?

    Sorry pal, you're still wrong.

The more likely chain of events is the original owner attempted to recover the account he sold. Got the account returned but the Jagex launcher is locked/disabled. Then gave the locked account back to @RS Phoenix but it is permanently locked.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. Jagex didn't 'spontaneously' lock my account, the original owner initiated the locking process. There unfortunately is no way to prove this as none of the actual responses from Jagex were submitted with the case.

This is exactly how I interpret it.

No repercussion's for the seller is crazy.

You'd be a tin-foil hat wearing nugget to think otherwise.

Where exactly do you get these logics when its offered as LIFE TIME WARRANTY.

Is there an outline of what "life time" means? because no offence im pretty sure that means their whole life.
