please help me

a year and a half ago my mum gave my dog away and i miss him soo much and i cant stp crying ive begged her to let me get him back but shes mking me choose if i get the dog back she leaves and shes accusing me of not caring about my grandads death i just need help

Why did she give the dog away? What happened with your grandad?

im 14 she gave it away because "she didnt like it" my grandad died of cancer 6 mnths ago reason im so upset is because i found old photos and videos of him and im tempted to tell her to move to my nans so me and my stepdad cn have our dog

 

She might leave, but I dont think any mother can live without her children.

Get your dog, and if your mother trully leaves then just leave her alone aswell, a true mother would not leave just because of a dog.

If your a boy, I would suggest that you just get over the dog and forget it.
That is if you can see that this is going no where good. By no where good I mean that she will never come back.

If your a girl, just get your dog back, your mother might leave but she'll be back.

im a boy and i may aswell tell you what happened with my dad my mum got pregnant (with me only child) and he tried to force her to have an abortion he got her to the clinic but she refused so he fled when i was 3 she tracked him down and took him to court he swore underoath my mother was a hooker and slept around and he would never sleep with some one like that my mum won the court case but he still hates her and is always trying to belittle her. thanks for advice but i think my mums hate for the dog is greater than her love of me.

Your mom have struggled quite a bit I can see. She was probably frustrated after having bin a lonely mother raising up a boy, perhaps she found it hard raising you up alone.
The fact that her father died just pulled the trigger, and now she cant keep her frustrations inside any longer and you hapend to be the one living with her.

Give her a bit time, it can be hard getting over a parrents death and moving on. Why dont you ask your nan to get you the dog, promising her that you will help taking care of it as much as possible. Go to your nans house everyday, perhaps move a bit of stuff over there and get a room in her house.

Your mother is just frustrated and sad, and cant stand having a dog in her house right now.

Why dont you move to your nans for a few months or a year?

 

I dont think your mother will leave you, thats un human like, just get the dog back.

 

krypton you give great advice you were thinking along same lines of me. i cared for the dog mostly she like maybe once a month needed to feed ut it was mostly me. i think she just hates animals ive stopped crying now because my mums realised she was wrong im going to see my dog tomorrow and she might give him a 1 week trial and if he behaves im alowed him back thanks everyone youve really helped me

your mother obveously doesnt care about your emotions/how you feel, so play cat and mouse with her say that you would rather have the dog and she her reaction and make a plan from there

 

I seriously feel really sorry for you. Though i think that there are a lot of family issues greater than your dog, and i think the whole dog is just a scapegoat for a lot of other hates and feelings.

no its not that i hate my mother but when i thought about it if my mum moves to my nans (which is round the corner) i can see her everyday but i can never see my dog unless i get him back.

because last year i used to be really bad at school i had so many detentions it worked out at 2.5 a night (i never went) i was suspended 32 times but never expelled. Im close with the headteacher she said the reason i wasnt expelled is becaus i have charm when i want to and im not one of the kids who wants to hurt anybody. so i think it was to show me she means buisness.

 

So what?you lost a dog not a brother or a dad or whatever
you can go buy other dog doesn't make difference stop being a child and grow up,get used to it,instead of crying all night because you lost a "Dog"..
