Staff think brandon hacked Tyro. Seeing as Brandon is friends with Drewksyd, you think they faked the conversation to make it seem as Tyro was banned. However, that's not the case. This is a legit scam on a hacked MSN. Tyro should be held accountable for his MSN, just as every other member is.

I'm not sure, I couldn't give a real answer as I don't know the circumstances.
However! It does make a fishy, scheming feeling emanate from the SL boards. That will cause problems as this should have been public the entire time, it makes most people (Maybe not everyone, I thought it was odd) feel like there could be favoritism and total bias in favor of those who remain unbanned and those who are.

I can't give a ruling on it until I can see the "public address" that may or may not be presented.

Thoughts:
Is there proof that the IP address or any proxy used involved that can link the thief to your msn? If so, case closed you're good to go.

 

Fine. Brandon hacked you. It's out.

Drew has been at some Lake and therefore he hasn't been on Skype. He doesn't know whats going on. You should know this from when you yourself have been in our Skype conversation.

It's your second explanation, and you know it.

 

Obviously, I'm not saying he has committed any crimes. But he, like any other sythe user, is responsible for his MSN.

 

Unless there is proof, and not simply a logical connection to why you think it is a fake transaction, the staff should react like it does with other MSN accounts that have been hacked.

 

Adding to my post. I can prove Drew has been away with Facebook statuses and pictures of him at the Lake.

 

Screenshots can be proven fake because people can just edit either the chat box to fake something or the pic/email. I've had it happen to me a few times.

 

Not when the entire staff team knows the victim was in on it, which the facts here are supporting. Brandon has absolutely no logical motive to scam Drew, I honestly see no way that the situation isn't fabricated.

 

The victim wasn't in on it. Drew had no way of knowing. The trade happened before the announcement, Drew has been away and no on skype for almost 2 weeks now, and we've lost contact with Drew completely. Like I said I can back up his absence with facebook statuses and pictures. If anybody has drew added on facebook I urge you to look at his recent pictures. He's on vacation.

 

We haven't known. He didn't tell anybody and the only reason I believe you is because you said you ran multiple IP checks on the MSN. Nobody leaked because nobody knew.

 

Tyro isn't being given some kind of special treatment because he is staff. DJweasel was given the same ruling on a scammer report which seemed highly fraudulent when his msn was hacked.

 

Maybe it's just me, but you sure didn't act surprised or bothered that Brandon was the hacker (Or that's where it points) you didn't even stick up for him at all.

However, if the facebook thing pulls through and the picture creation dates coincide with the facebook status posts then you might actually have something there.

 

So he got scammed on vacation? How do we know that Drew didn't come online, Brandon quickly messages him "Dude I hacked Tyro, lemme scam you and I'll pay you back, and we'll split the money that Tyro has to reimburse" and Drew quickly agrees? It doesn't really need much planning..

 

If drew was away for almost 2 weeks now, how did he get scammed in the first place? or even make a scam report, I'm sure drew would need a computer to take those screen shots.

That makes it a lot harder doesn't it? It's not all "planned out" anymore. It's a spur of the moment. You need to stop defending just because he's part of your team. Brandon recently got a new MSN, he'd have to go through the trouble of finding drew online (which he hasn't been very often at all) on his old MSN, then getting him to add him on his newer MSN. Fill him in on the plan all at 4AM.

Brandon scammed Drew for gold on WoW and hasn't talked to him since. They aren't these buddies you guys think they are. Drew doesn't even get on Skype anymore and when he does we kick him shortly due to background noises he has.)

 

I only know because Tyro had told me earlier that he ran several IP checks on the MSN. He said these IP checks have been ran by several staff.

 

Yes. Imagine this:

He logs onto his computer and has an offer to buy his accounts from a Global mod. He doesn't know he's hacked, he can't know about a "plan" to get Tyro banned. He's innocent and Tyro's MSN scammed him.

Pay him back, or get banned until you do Tyro, like every other member.

 

Maybe it wasn't Drew on his Sythe account nor msn, if hes still on "vacation" like you said maybe his "hacker" traded with himself then posted the scam report?
