Perm Mute?

I was recently permanently muted for "Website Advertising Severe Mute," even though I've never advertised any websites, used autotypers, etc. When I tried to view the evidence they said that they couldn't show it so I'm guessing that the ban is macro-related. Has this happened to anyone else?

Haven't botted at all or advertised any malicious websites. The fact that it's a perm mute for something like website advertisement seems a bit strange to me - I've submitted my appeal so I'll see how that goes. Just wondering if other people have been wrongfully muted for the same thing and how their appeals went

 

Sent a ticket to jagex from your perm muted account and ask them why you got it.

 

You can get auto muted by logging into your account through certain widely used VPNs. You should be able to get it removed by contacting their Twitter.

 

Runescape did that to one of my friends accounts but it was perm ban instead of perm mute when he had done nothing wrong, idk why but u can go to support and ask for a pardon.
