Paypal.

I'm from canada and have a 25$ visa gift card. (from the U.S)
I went to the website and registered (so im assuming i can use online now)
but when i tried to add to my paypal it did not work.
I then created a new paypal (american) and it still does not work, says "You have entered an invalid number or partial credit card or debit card number." i am positive i have the right number. Also says when i try to add to mine own paypal to contact them first.

Any suggestions?

I seems as if the card that you have is inactive. This could be for one of two reasons; firstly that the card wasn't properly activated when the person or you purchased the card and second that you are entering it improperly. Now for the sake of the intelligence of humanity, I'm going to say that the card wasn't properly activated. Make sure you are entering the correct number and the entire code - if still not working I would likely say there's not much you can do. If I were you I would contact them and have them verify the card to make sure it is activated and works properly.

 

Thanks, but i checked it out online, it is completely activated with a $25.00 balance, it also says you have to register online to use the card, which i did. So im not really sure why it will not work with paypal. I have not tried to use it with out using paypal because i want to use for rsbotting.com which requires paypal.

 

Best thing you can do is call PayPal.

 

I just noticed when registering the card on this site, i put in the email as the email registered to my paypal. Perhaps this has something to do with it? but if it does it should add to my paypal.. unless you can't add american cards to canadian paypals? :S lol

yes, my canadian one is.

 

I think the problem may be that when i registered the card, i put in an american adress, because it did not accept my canadian adress, is this possible?

 

The credit card address must match the account address.

That's your problem.

 

Kinda screwed then :/ can't change the adress, says you have just done this.
Also when i try add a card to my american won, apperently the zip i entered is wrong, because it will not work on paypal. When i try and change info it says "User record is less than 30 days old. No update allowed, please contact Customer Service." if i called do you think i would be able to change?

 

Called paypal to change your address? If they realize you tried to register with a fake address, they'll probably lock your account.

 

No i meant call the visa and say i made a mistake, which i did. and now it works
